What you choose to share
The enquiry form collects your name, email, requested service, project description, consent, and an enquiry reference. Phone and address are optional except that a delivery destination is required for a print quote. Print specifications and translation language pairs are collected when relevant. A recording is collected only if you choose to record or upload one and send the form.
Why this information is stored
It is used to record and review your request, understand the proposed project, and support a response when business contact routing is configured. This review does not send marketing campaigns, take payment, or send your personal details in a third-party chat URL.
Where enquiries and audio are kept
Enquiry records are stored in the website’s MySQL database. Audio files are stored in a protected server directory without a public download URL. Staff access uses the configured administrator account and a protected session. Business notification routing and the privacy contact must be configured before public launch.
Your microphone and files
Microphone access is requested only after you click Start recording. Recording ends after two minutes, when you stop, or when the panel closes. You may preview, replace, or delete the local recording before sending. An unsent recording is not uploaded. Sent recordings are associated with the enquiry reference.
Browser storage and service protection
The sample reading activity stores progress in this browser’s local storage and can be reset. The enquiry service uses a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. This site adds no advertising analytics or tracking pixels. Hosting and authentication infrastructure may process operational data needed to serve the site.
Requests and retention
Keep your enquiry reference if you need a record corrected or removed. A verified privacy contact and a documented retention and deletion schedule are pending business confirmation. Avoid sending sensitive information or a full confidential manuscript in an initial enquiry.
External links
Historical book listings and archival references open external websites with their own policies. If a business chat provider is configured later, you will be shown a separate link after the enquiry is saved.
