THOUGHTFUL WORDS. BEAUTIFULLY MADE BOOKS.•YOUR STORY STARTS HERE
Editing & Proofreading

More clarity. Still unmistakably you.

Some manuscripts need a stronger structure. Others need a careful sentence-level pass or a final check after layout. We help you choose the right kind of attention for the stage your book is in.

A clearly defined scope

Know what goes into your project.

We begin with the details that matter to your book. Your written proposal confirms the deliverables, quantities, revision rounds, timing, and costs before work begins.

How the work takes shape

Care, in every step.

01

We agree the details, the intended reader, and the scope of this stage.

02

Edit with purpose and care

You review the work at defined milestones and share consolidated feedback.

03

Review, resolve, and prepare

We resolve the agreed revisions and prepare the specified handoff.

A few useful answers

Before you begin.

How are the editing levels different?

Developmental editing looks at structure and content. Line editing refines expression. Copyediting checks grammar, usage, and consistency. Proofreading checks remaining errors after editing, often in a laid-out proof.

Will you rewrite my story?

The agreed scope sets the boundaries. We preserve the author’s intention and flag substantive questions instead of silently changing the story.

What file should I send?

An editable Word file is useful for tracked changes. For a final proof, provide the actual laid-out PDF and explain how corrections should be marked.
